Broken20 is a new record label based in Scotland from Ruaridh Law of The Marcia Blaine School For Girls and The Village Orchestra, ably assisted by Erstlaub and Production Unit; the team that brought us the awesome I Can Hear The Siren Singing Again last year.

Broken20 will release all sorts of music. Rather than be genre-tied, we will be releasing music rooted in a particular aesthetic – releases concerned with decay, erosion, entropy, mistakes and errors, line noise and tape hiss, hum and buzz.

To get proceedings underway, Erstlaub has provided a podcast titled On Becoming Invisible, available via Broken20 here. Pretty excited by this, first release from TVO scheduled for July.
